Their story
Questions the officer asked
- 1.Honestly it didn't feel like an interview at all โ more like a casual conversation, and it lasted about 10-15 minutes. Most of the questions were directed at my wife, who is the U.S. citizen.
- 2.Some of what we were asked:
- 3.Why did you get married so quickly?
- 4.Does your spouse practice any religion?
- 5.Are you planning to have a bigger wedding?
- 6.What are your spouse's life goals?
- 7.Does your spouse have any siblings?
- 8.That was pretty much it. The "married quickly" question came up because we met on March 20, 2025 and married on March 20, 2026.
- 9.The officer was friendly and the whole thing was very relaxed. We weren't asked for anything unusual and it never felt like an interrogation.
